Abstract

The aim of report was to find out about the present condition of ICT tools and applications for supporting teaching at schools. It was important to know whether schools are interested in having such equipment. What the teacher´s opinion is on having these tools at school. Is it different according to the age and gender of teachers? The report find out whether pupils fancy usage of ICT during classes and whether usage of ICT tools makes the lesson more interesting than the lesson led in an “old classical way”. Based on my questionnaire research I have found out how the schools are equipped with modern ICT tools in reality. The situation is not bad but there is always something to be improved. Schools are interested in having ICT tools. Teachers are willing to learn how to use the ICT tools for teaching. The research has shown that the approach to the ICT in teaching is different according to the age and gender of teachers. Students like lessons with ICT using. We can say they feel the difference between “classical” way of teaching and the modern one - it is more interesting for them.
