Abstract

The Diploma thesis deals with explosive atmospheres which are created by flammable substances. The aim is to create a methodological aid by which the evaluator will obtain the necessary information for the creation and updating of explosion protection documentation. A large part of this work is a summary of the requirements of legal and other regulations in relation to explosion protection. Based on these information, checklists are compiled which are then used in functional verification on workplace where explosive atmosphere is created by gas or dust.
