Abstract

First part of this bachelor's thesis deals with the description of characteristics and parameters of the most widely used types of batteries on our market. The emphasis is put mainly on the charging of these batteries and description of its charging methods. The second and third part deals with the design and realization of lead-acid battery charger with discharge pulse, verification of its functionality and examination of the impact of current waveform on the residual battery capacity.
