Abstract

The most important part of shortwave device is a powerful antenna to the receiver and transmitter, because it depends on the signal strength. It is therefore necessary to select a suitable antenna.It is necessary to choose the appropriate type of antenna. The shortwave bands antenna dimensions are tens of meters and for the needs of HAM club is appropriate to use one antenna for multiple bands. The purpose of this magister thesis is to describe possible solutions of HF antennas design functional wire antenna. Main premise of this thesis is production wire antenna and its utilization for radio club at VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava.
