Analýza bezpečnosti provozu na křižovatce silnic I/60 a I/44 ve městě Jeseník

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the intersection of the roads I/60 and I/44 in the town of Jeseník. In the introductory part the location of the selected intersection is described. The thesis includes the execution and evaluation of a traffic survey, on the basis of which all necessary traffic engineering characteristics were determined and the traffic forecast for the prospective year was determined. The existing condition is assessed in terms of capacity for existing and forecast traffic volumes. For both traffic volume conditions, traffic simulation models are developed in PTV VISSIM. On the basis of the analysis of the structural and technical condition, proposals for modifications to the intersection are developed. All proposals include drawings according to the scope of the modifications. The proposed alternatives are assessed in terms of sight distance and throughput. All designs are capacity assessed for the prospective traffic volumes and traffic simulation models are created in PTV VISSIM.
