Abstract

The thesis is focused on the public sector which includes also specific issue of the municipal firms established by autonomous territorial units. The work is divided into free parts. Technické služby města Příbor, p.o. was chosen to analyse the efficiency of the municipal firm. The second chapter of the work describes the specifics and the isme connected with the financing of the public sector. This part also involves basic characteristics and principles used in calculations. The synthesis models which serve for complex assessment of of the municipal firms are mentioned as well. In the practical part, some selected proporcional indicators and synthesis models KAMF and KAMF* are calculated.
