Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of rainwater disposal from the area of the former Zárubek mine (where mining was terminated) with the subsequent construction of a zone for light industry. The area of interest is located in the Silesian Ostrava locality - the area of the former Zárubek mine. The introduction to the diploma thesis is to get acquainted with the locality in the mined area where mining is completed. Subsequently, the history of the area of interest is described. The next chapter is devoted to the reconnaissance of the area of interest. During the reconnaissance, data concerning geohazards were processed, a hydrogeological and engineering geological survey was carried out, on the basis of which a method of rainwater disposal in the area of interest was proposed. For geohazards, emphasis is placed on methane and radon outputs. The diploma thesis also incorporates the current valid legislation and acquaintance with the decree on construction documentation in connection with the solution of the diploma thesis. At the end of the theoretical part, the liquidation of toxic waters caused by precipitation and subsequent flushing from the surface of paved areas in the case of localities for light industry and heavy industry is solved.
In the practical part of the diploma thesis, a project of rainwater drainage solutions in the area of interest using the design software GstarCAD and AutoPEN is performed.
The result of the diploma thesis is a technical solution for the removal of rainwater from the area of interest for the planned light industry zone. With regard to the nature of the area, the disposal of rainwater was solved by a controlled outflow from the retention tank using pumps connected to the existing safety closure in the embankment body of the Lučina watercourse.
At the end of the diploma thesis, a calculation of economic costs is performed.
