Abstract
The main focus of this bachelor's work is the basic evalution of lithology and stratigraphy of sediments from ropický horizon. Study locality is situated 5 kilometers northeast from Frýdek-Místek. Locality is called Bruzovice and in regional classification Bruzovice is in Outer Western Carpathians.
In this locality there is natural outcrop of left river bluff, and lenght of this natural outcrop is 45 meters. From the results of the macroscopic and microscopic description I set stratigraphy of this profile from middle Tithonian to early Berriasian. Lower part of the profile is formed by top of Vendryně formation, which is formed by claystones with concretions of limestones. Stratigraphy of this part is from the middle Tithonian to late Tithonian. Upper part of the profile is in lowest layers of Těšín limestone, which is formed by limestones, claystones and marlstones. Stratigraphy of this part is early Berriasian.
