Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with employee benefits – tools for employee motivation and rewards. The employee benefits are rewards that an employer provides to the employees besides the salary. A properly chosen system of the employee benefits leads to happiness of the employees, brings motivation for their better performance and also helps to recruit new employees. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with theoretical aspects of the employee benefits. The practical part describes commercial company OZO Ostrava, Ltd. and gives analysis of the employee benefits in this particular company. The aim of the thesis is a theoretical description and analysis of employee benefits and their purpose within the company of OZO Ostrava, Ltd., together with evaluation of a questionnaire focused on employee satisfaction with the provided benefits and assessment of recommendations emerging from the questionnaire results.
