Analýza ekonomických dopadů na vývoj průměrných mezd v automobilovém průmyslu České republiky

Abstract

Automobilový průmysl je nejvýznamnějším producentem v národním hospodářství a díky tomuto postavení se současně řadí mezi největší zaměstnavatele v ČR. Cílem diplomové práce je identifikovat klíčové determinanty, které mají zásadní vliv na vývoj průměrných mezd v automobilovém průmyslu ČR a následně je kvantifikovat a určit jejich intenzitu pomocí vybraných statistických metod. V práci je provedena charakteristika a analýza odvětví, průměrných mezd i vybraných determinantů. Pro zkoumání vzájemných vazeb mezi mzdami a determinanty jsou vytvořeny poměrové ukazatele a korelační koeficienty. Stěžejním bodem práce je provedení lineární regrese panelových dat, která se zaměřila na úzkou část odvětví čítající pouze finální výrobce silničních vozidel. Výsledky analýzy potvrzují, že počet zaměstnanců, nezaměstnanost v konkrétním regionu a HDP mají velký vliv na výši průměrných mezd v odvětví. Produktivita práce rovněž vykazuje jistou významnost, avšak v porovnání s ostatními determinanty je její vliv slabší. Zjištěné výsledky mohou usnadnit rozhodování o mzdové politice ve společnostech působících v automobilovém průmyslu.

The automotive industry is the most significant producer in the national economy, and thanks to this position, it is also one of the largest employers in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to identify the key determinants that have a fundamental influence on the development of average wages in the Czech automotive industry and subsequently to quantify them and determine their intensity using selected statistical methods. The thesis provides a description and analysis of the industry, average wages, and selected determinants. Ratio indicators and correlation coefficients are created to examine the interrelationships between wages and determinants. The central focus of the thesis is the performance of a linear regression of panel data, which focused on a narrow segment of the industry comprising only final manufacturers of road vehicles. The results of the analysis confirm that the number of employees, unemployment in a specific region, and GDP have a significant impact on the level of average wages in the industry. Labor productivity also shows some significance, but its influence is weaker compared to other determinants. The findings may facilitate decision-making regarding wage policy in companies operating in the automotive industry.
