Abstract

This thesis deals with co-financing the reconstruction nursery piglets and fattening pigs from the European Union grand funds. The aim of this thesis is to analyze selected agricultural cooperative project funded through the European Union grant sources and assess its effectiveness and benefits for the agricultural cooperative. Due to the non-profit of this project couldn‘t be the issue solved by traditional methods ofevaluating the effectiveness of investments. It was created the creation and implementation schedule of the project, analyzed the current situation of agricultural cooperatives, the status of pigs in the agricultural cooperative and the overall situation in the Czech and European market for pork. With the view to overall unfavorable situation of pig production and thus the whole project, it was recommended the agricultural cooperative to reduce the breeding of pigs to a minimum and focus on other activities that generate profit.
