Abstract
The bachelor thesis examines various methods of degreasing followed by etching and conversion coating and their influence on the shear strength of aluminium alloy adhesive bonded joints. By individual methods of degreasing, etching, applying conversion coating, the level of surface degreasing is documented using Contactless Scanner Recognoil. Subsequently, the surface-treated sheets are then bonded into configurations of the single lap shear joints specimens with the 3M Scotch-Weld DP460 NS adhesive. We have a ZD 10/90 100 kN tensile test machine for evaluation shear strengths. After the tensile test, fractured surfaces of adhesive bonded joints are examined and the causes of their failure are discussed. At the end of the thesis are summarized the achieved results for used methods of surface treatments and recommendations for further development.
