Abstract

This thesis entitled "Proposal for Improvement of Production Planning in the Company" is focused on adjusting the current methodology of production planning to reduce surplus inventory. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and it describes the basic logistical concepts explaining analyzed problem. The second part contains a presentation of the company Kofola , a.s. and analysis of new proposal to reduce product inventory. The results serve as a basis for designing improved methodology for production planning and reduce storage capacity utilization.
