Abstract

Topic document management system in recent years, increasingly becoming interested organizations. This is a topic that organizations brings a lot of benefits. DMS is not only an autonomous system, but often it is one of the systems of the organization. Companies often do not see or believe that a document management system will bring any savings or help them at work. Bachelor thesis is focused on comparison of local and cloud-based solutions and calculation of benefits that implementation of the system brings. In one of the parts is also mentioned legislative framework that must be met for using the system. The paper analyzed the historical development of the system and possible modules, which each system can be extended.
