Abstract

This Bachelor thesis is focused on topic utilization of underground space for waste treatment. Main content is description two main systems, which is used for this pusrpose. Firt systém is utilization of underground containers. Dividing underground containers by their individual criterion and their advantages and disadvantages. Part of the work is dedicate to installation of underground containers and supporting activities which are nessesary (posibility of searching for utilities, foundation of containers, stabilization building holes, compaction od fill up between container and excavation wall, posibility of using trenchless technology). Second part is dedicated to automated vakuum waste collection, the principle on which it works. This work is also dedicated specific examples from Czech Republic and foremost from foreign countries. Ending is dedicated to the future for utilization of underground for storage and transport purposes.
