Abstract

The diploma thesis "Participatory Budgets of Municipalities" deals with introducing a participative budget project in evaluates municipalities of the Czech Republic. It also approaches the operation of participative budgeting abroad. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical knowledge from the area of the budgetary process. The second part deals with the analysis of specific municipalities where participatory budgeting is applied. In the third part of the diploma thesis is elaborated a proposal of participative budgeting methodology, which deals with evaluation of participative budget project in selected municipalities.
