Assessing the Creditworthiness of a Client Using Classification Trees

Abstract

The credit-granting process leads to a choice between two actions—give this new applicant credit or refuse this applicant credit. In the thesis, we use the CART algorithm with 10-fold cross-validation to build the model to be able predict creditworthiness of a new applicant.
