Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of pink-collar crime, which represents a specific form of economic crime primarily associated with female offenders. The aim of the thesis is to explain the nature of this type of crime and to identify its typical characteristics, motivational factors, and methods of offending based on selected case studies. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts, characteristics of female criminality, and factors influencing the emergence of pink-collar crime. It also focuses on the role of the state and control institutions, as well as the significance of organizational vulnerabilities in the context of crime prevention. The practical part is based on qualitative research, specifically on the processing of six case studies, which were subsequently compared. The outcome of the thesis is the identification of common and distinct features of individual cases, the creation of a typology of offenders, and the formulation of practical recommendations. The thesis contributes to a better understanding of this specific form of crime and highlights possibilities for its prevention.
