Abstract

The theoretical part deals with the properties of the power LED and the current situation on the market. It explains the principle, use and basic properties. It also shows the optical elements, such as lenses, their properties and their distribution. It discusses the use of optical concentrators and reflectors in optical applications, their characteristics and basic division. The practical part is focused on shaping the radiation characteristics of the power LED using optical reflector and optical lens. Measurement of radiation pattern in the laboratory and in the LIGHTTOOLS. They are shown the power distribution graphs obtained from laboratory measurements and simulation in LIGHTTOOLS. All measured conclusions are presented in tables and graphs and compared.
