Abstract

The work deals with the theoretical possibilities of reducing the consumption of electricity using direct and indirect methods. Commonly implemented ways of reducing electricity consumption are discussed. Methods of producing electricity for own use, both conventional and alternative, are also explored. An important part is the economic view of the issue, including the calculation of the payback period for individual solutions.
