Abstract
This bachelor work deals with inhabitans familiarity with emergencies. Firstly, there are basic terms explained. Secondly, there is the town Boskovice described and as well in this part there is a description of past emergencies in this town and how the local authorities can cope with them. Next, there is a questionnaire survey and its results. Lastly, there are recommended measures to improve current conditions.
