Abstract
The topic of this thesis is the issue of European Single Market, in particular the importance of the EU Single Market for Czech companies. The main aim is to characterise formation of the EU Single Market, evaluate the importance of the Single Market for Czech Republic and prove or disprove relevancy of the Single Market for Czech company given the fact, that Single Market changed behaviour and thought of companies up to the future. Theoretical part is focused on demarcation of key events, which affected the process of formation of the EU Single Market to its present form. The practical part of the thesis clarifies the importance of the Single Market for Czech Republic and its business sector, for which the accession of Czech Republic to the European Union meant much more competitive business environment. The process of adaptation of Czech company to Single Market conditions is described in a last chapter of this thesis with emphasis on concrete aspects, which could be obstacles for Czech company in trading, thus lead to weakening its position on a market.
