Využití památek UNESCO v cestovním ruchu České republiky

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the utilization UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage sites in tourism of the Czech Republic. It is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the attention is given to the ogranization UNESCO and its importace. The main part is devoted to the presentation of the Czech World Heritage Sites such as Historic Centre of Český Krumlov, Historic Centre of Telč, Gardens and Castle at Kroměříž, Holašovice historical Village Reservation, Holy Trinity Column in Olomouc, Jewish Quarter and St Procopius' Basilica in Třebíč, Kutná Hora: Historical Town Centre with the Church of St Barbara and the Cathedral of Our Lady at Sedlec, Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, Litomyšl Castle, Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Zelená Hora and Tugendhat Villa in Brno. Last chapter of the theoretical parts is focused on tourism. The practical part is about analysis of visitors attendance of World Heritage Sites in the Czech Republic between 1999 – 2009. At the end, of my thesis I try to evaluete the questionnaire in order to determine whether the choice of visites depends on the list of the Word Heritage Sites. Next, I tried to identify which sights respondents has visited and would like to visit.
