Abstract

The objective of the bachelor thesis is to assessment the value of a company by selected techniques. The chosen valuation method isbased on book value and income approach.. The work is structured into three main chapters. The first chapter contains theoretical methods for company value assessment. Basic concepts are defined and discussed in detail as well as recommended procedure for valuation. Various methods and means of their calculations are characterized and described. The second chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the selected company in terms of financial, strategic and organizational perspective. The last chapter includes assessmentof the company by selected methods. The financial analysis was performed by using several methods. These are the indicators of profitability and activity, the assessment amount of the equity, method of capitalized earnings, EVA indicator, Capitalized Excess Earnings method, weighted mean and average values. Recommendations for the management of the company based on certain methods are provided to increase thecompany value.
