Optimalizace přípravy tepelně exfoliovaného g-C3N4 pro samočistící povrchy

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on identifying optimal conditions for the thermal exfoliation of graphitic carbon nitride, aiming to prepare a material applicable as a photocatalytically active agent capable of achieving self-cleaning properties on the surface of another material – specifically the surface of cement blocks. In the experimental part, nine samples of thermally exfoliated graphitic carbon nitride were prepared under various temperature and time conditions. These samples were subsequently converted into suspensions, applied to the surfaces of cement blocks, and tested for photocatalytic activity and self-cleaning performance. Based on the obtained results, the most effective sample was selected, and its physical and chemical properties were examined in more detail. The findings demonstrate the potential of exfoliated graphitic carbon nitride for practical use in self-cleaning surface applications.
