Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Wieser, Vladimír; Pšenák, VladimírThis article presents the basic theory of power control and deals with the mutual interference among mobile subscribers (basic stations) in uplink (downlink). Considering the SIR requirements, each transmitter in the WCDMA network have to use minimum output power, which is necessary to span channel fading. Accurate transmitter power level can be achieved by using optional power control loops, which send appropriate Transmitter Power Control (TPC) commands through dedicated feedback channel. Effect of power control commands delay in the WCDMA mobile radio network are presented by uplink simulations results. Presented power control loop is based on the standardized algorithm. The investigation of the influence of TPC commands delay in the case of high speed mobile subscriber helps in designing the optional link adaptation algorithm.Item type: Item , Novel materials for molecular electronics and their characterization(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Weis, M.; Barančok, D.; Cirák, J.; Tomčík, P.; Vajda, J.Defect-free diacetylene (DA) Langmuir-Blodgett films polymerized on a air/water interface have various applications in biosensors, membrane physics or low-dimensional physics. Polymerization of DA monolayers is in general way characterized by optical spectroscopy. In this study for evaluation of photopolymerization process for the first time the Maxwell displacement current (MDC) measuring technique was used. In experiment MDC flows through the metal electrode/air gap/Langmuir monolayer/water surface structure. The effect of polymerization as well as the phase transition of polymerized DA was observed. Moreover PDA domain creation and homogenization was registered.Item type: Item , The symmetry of optical field in photonic crystal fibre with trigonal symmetry(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Turek, Ivan; Káčik, Daniel; Martinček, IvanSome photographs of intensity of optical field of a photonic crystal fibre are presented in the contribution. Presented photographs document that the symmetry of photonic crystal creating the cladding of fibre is manifested in the symmetry of distribution of the optical field intensity. In case when more modes are excited in the fibre the symmetry of the generated field can be different as the symmetry of the eventual modes. How the symmetry may be changed is illustrated by a model example.Item type: Item , The influence of particle size and substituent contents on the magnetic properties of Be or Cu substituted NiZn ferrites(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Sláma, J.; Ušák, E.; Dosoudil, R.; Grusková, A.; Ušáková, M.; Jančárik, V.Polycrystalline NiZn ferrites with the chemical formula (Ni0.3Zn0.7)1−xMexFe2O4 where Me being Be or Cu and x=0.05, 0.1 and 0.25 have been prepared by a ceramic method. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Röschlová, J.; Weis, M.; Šatka, A.; Pleceník, T.; Pištora, Jaromír; Petridis, D.; Barančok, D.; Cirák, J.The investigation of physical properties of bulk materials is a traditional approach in materials science. During last decades the interest has been focused on two-dimensional ordered systems of nanometer-size particles with unusual mechanical, electrical, magnetic, optical, chemical properties, which are perspective for applications in electronics, optics, computer science and medicine. In this paper we report on the preparation of well ordered Langmuir-Blodgett films of g- Fe2O3 nanoparticles with an average size of 10nm. Arrangement and homogeneity were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy as well as atomic force microscopy. Magnetic properties were measured by the magneto-optical Kerr effect.Item type: Item , Infrared insight into the network of hydrogenated amorphous and polycrystalline silicon thin films(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Müllerová, JarmilaIR measurements were carried out on both amorphous and polycrystalline silicon samples deposited by PECVD on glass substrate. The transition from amorphous to polycrystalline phase was achieved by increasing dilution of silane plasma at the deposition process. The samples were found to be mixed phase materials. Commonly, infrared spectra of hydrogenated silicon thin films yield information about microstructure, hydrogen content and hydrogen bonding to silicon. In this paper, additional understanding was retrieved from infrared response. Applying standard optical laws, effective media theory and Clausius-Mossoti approach concerning the Si-Si and Si-H bonds under IR irradiation as individual oscillators, refractive indices in the long wavelength limit, crystalline, amorphous and voids volume fractions and the mass density of the films were determined. The mass density was found to decrease with increasing crystalline volume fraction, which can be attributed to the void-dominated mechanism of network formation.Item type: Item , Numerical modelling of electric conductance of a thin sheet(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Kollár, M.; Franek, J.In this paper the numeric modelling of total resistance of a thin sheet, with local conductivity in randomly distributed grains higher then is that of the basic matrix, is presented. The 2D model is formed by a structure of longitudinal and transversal conductors interconnected in nodes of a square net. In all nodes, using iteration procedure, the potential is determined from which the conductance of sheet is computed between two touching electrodes. The described model can be used to imitate the behaviour of heterogeneous thin conducting sheets prepared by different techniques. The model was verified in some cases where the net resistance is well known from the theory.Item type: Item , Thin film solar cells and their optical properties(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Jurečka, Stanislav; Pinčík, E.; Brunner, R.In this work we report on the optical parameters of the semiconductor thin film for solar cell applications determination. The method is based on the dynamical modeling of the spectral reflectance function combined with the stochastic optimization of the initial reflectance model estimation. The spectral dependency of the thin film optical parameters computations is based on the optical transitions modeling. The combination of the dynamical modeling and the stochastic optimization of the initial theoretical model estimation enable comfortable analysis of the spectral dependencies of the optical parameters and incorporation of the microstructure effects on the solar cell properties. The results of the optical parameters of the i-a-Si thin film determination are presented.Item type: Item , Characteristics of magnetic properties of substituted hexagonal ferrites(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline. Elektrotechnická fakulta, 2006) Jančárik, V.; Grusková, A.; Sláma, J.; Dosoudil, R.; González, A.; Mendoza, G.The samples of barium hexaferrite BaFe12-2x(Me1Me2)xO19 with x from 0.0 to 0.6 were prepared by various methods. The cationic preference of mainly divalent Me1 = Zn, Co, Ni, Sn ions and tetravalent Me2 = Ti, Zr, Ir, Sn, Ru ions and their combinations in substituted Ba ferrites was investigated. The substitutions were performed to reduce the grain size and high magnetic uniaxial anisotropy field of the M-type Ba ferrite without affecting the magnetic polarisation. The goal is to reach the properties of ferrite proper for high-density magnetic recording and microwave absorption devices. Magnetic properties were determined as a function of the substitution level x. The specific saturation magnetic polarisation Js–m and remanence Js–r increased with small x due to the substitution of non-magnetic and less magnetic ions in 4f1 and 4f2 sites. The steep decrease of coercivity Hc with increasing x may be caused by the Co2+ preference of 4f2 site and Ti4+or Zr4+ ions preference of 2b and slightly in 4f1 sites. The temperature coefficient of the coercivity TKHc was very low (0.01kA.m–1.oC–1) for the Co-Zr substitutions and positive for the rest of samples.Item type: Item , Dielectric spectroscopy of ionic glasses of the system CuI-CuBr-Cu2O-P2O5(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline.
