Vlastnosti svarových spojů manganových příložek

Abstract

This thesis deals with properties of weldments between friction plates made of manganese steel and parts made of carbon steel. Manganese steel, sometimes called Hadfield steel, is, used where there wear resistance is needed. Manganese steel is steel with 11,0 - 14,0 % Mn. There are described properties and weldability at the introduction and up to date techniques of welding of these steels are described too. Then follows suggestion of consumables and ways of welding together with detailed working proces. In practical part of thesis is tested welded joint made by current consumables. Destructive and non-destructive methods are used to check qualities of these joints. At the end of thesis there is discussion of obtained results.
