This paper introduces a new technology called Broadband over Visible Light (BVL) which combines two technology solutions like Visible Light Communication(VLC) and Broadband over Power Line (BPL). This new technology is suitable for converting modern LED lighting systems into communication systems. However, there are some deficiencies in BVL technology such as the low bandwidth of LED optical transmitters. Pre-equalization may be solution of this problem. This paper proposes higher bandwidth using the pre-equalization circuit. Also, it shows real experimental results demonstrating an improvement of bandwidth and transmission rate.cs
