Abstract

The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis focuses on polymers, mechanical properties of plastics and their testing, especially on technologies of 3D printing of plastic functional parts. Practical part deals with the detection of mechanical properties of plastic samples made by 3D printing. The test specimens were manufactured from atomized polyamide PA 12 on the EOS P 396 machine, working on SLS technology. To determine the mechanical properties, a one-axis tensile test was chosen. The resulting values serve to dimension the functional components and will be used as the default for further testing.
