Abstract

BYRTUS, R. Research of the Influence of Recycling of Al Powder on the Resulting Porosity of the Component: Diploma thesis, Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology, 2020 70 pages, 28 figures, 13 tables. Thesis head: Ing. Jiří Hajnyš, Ph.D. The presented diploma thesis deals with the influence of recycling of Al powder metal on the resulting porosity of the component in the field of additive production, specifically the 3D printing of metals. This work is divided into two parts. The first, research part, provides an overview of current knowledge about additive production, SLM printing and the influence of selected process parameters of printing. It also deals with the manufacturing problems, especially the formation of porosity, which in many aspects is the cause of deterioration of mechanical properties. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with powdered metals, their production and recycling. The experimental part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter contains a description of professional equipment that was used during the experiment. The second part continues with the research of the aluminium alloy AlSi10Mg, in which the results of the distribution of aluminium alloy particles at different stages of recycling are measured, which is one of the possible causes of degradation of the properties of powder materials. The conclusion of the experimental part describes the recommended process parameters of printing and compares the degree of influence of powder recycling on the formation of porosity.
