Abstract
The diploma thesis is focused on additive production technology, especially on melting/ sintering of metal powders by laser beam using Powder Bed Fusion technology. This technology is divided into other processes according to the heat source used. The diploma thesis deals in more detail with the SLM (Selective Laser Melting) process and is divided into two parts, theory and experiment. The theoretical part contains an introduction to the previously mentioned technology. The experimental part is based on the calculation of stress and strain in a 3D model using a computer program. To determine the internal, residual stresses, 316L stainless steel test material was calibrated by laboratory tests. Due to the deformation of the 3D model, the preset parameters are verified by simulation. Subsequently, the deformation of the model is measured and new dimensional values of the model are determined on the basis of the calculation. The correctness of the settings and calculation is verified by simulation of 3D printing. The result was a model with predefined geometry that was ready for 3D printing.
