Abstract

The master thesis is concerned with the usage of additive technology to produce a lathe tool out of stainless steel marked 316l. The introduction presents the division of additive technologies, used materials, and description of selected technology required for the print of the mentioned tool. In the following part, a description of the entire process of production is provided, starting with the initial design and manufacture, consequent adjustments, and final printing. In the end, the prototype undergoes technological assessment.
