Abstract

This master thesis deals with the effect of scanning strategy and selected process parameters on the residual internal stresses of AISI 316L steel samples produced by SLM method. Theoretical part of the work groups the knowledge necessary to perform and understanding the experiment. There are chapters concerning additive manufacturing with emphasis on residual stresses and deformations in SLM process. The experimental part is focused to the experiment from the analysis of the problem, through design and implementation, to discussion and evaluation of the achieved results. Test samples based from the BCM method and were made on a Renishaw AM 400 machine. After separation samples from the base plate was scanned the released residual stress as deformation on the microscope. Deformation was measured in CAD software. Finally was assessed and evaluated influence of the tested parameters on residual stresses.
