This master's thesis deals with the comparison of mechanical properties of composite material on the basis of polyamide 12 with glass balls. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the use of 3D printing and its basic principle and the impact of additive technologies on the Fourth Industrial Revolution as well as its environmental impact. The theoretical part also includes the basic division and introduction of some of the technologies, materials, and use in 3D printing. The practical part deals with the evaluation of the mechanical properties of composite material with glass balls. The samples are printed with Selective Laser Sintering technology with different orientations. Subsequently, these samples are analyzed with a tensile test. The resulting mechanical properties are compared with the values provided by the producer whether it complies the required parameters.
