Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the utilization of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology for the production of molds intended for laminating composite materials. The study examines various aspects of 3D printing, particularly the selection of materials such as ULTEM, ABS, Nylon, and PEEK, which have been chosen for their mechanical properties and durability, crucial for the quality and longevity of the final molds. Furthermore, the thesis explores surface treatments and finishing methods for molds, which are key to achieving the desired accuracy and quality. The thesis offers a comprehensive view of the potential and technical possibilities of using FDM technology in the production process of composite materials.
