dc.description.abstractThe paper deals with wider view on the territorial determination of the European Union, which opens the problem of contemporary position of two groups of former colonial (respectively autonomous) territories, which did not reach independence. There is the status and specific ways of seven so called overseas territories integration characterized. These territories are the part of some EU member states. Besides that the EU defined the group of 21 associated overseas countries and territories, to which the integration measures are applied in a different way.en
