Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je ohodnotit úspěšnost vzdělávacích programů financovaných Evropským sociálním fondem v České republice - konkrétně v Moravskoslezském kraji. Druhá kapitola se zabývá definicí politiky soudržnosti. Dále tato kapitola objasňuje územní členění České republiky dle evropských standardů, finanční rámec, strategické dokumenty a nástroje, které používá politika soudržnosti. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na analýzu vzdělanosti obyvatel ČR. Snaží se také o porovnání konkurenceschopnosti EU a ČR ve světovém měřítku. Na konci objasní úlohu Evropského sociálního fondu pro podporu vzdělávání v ČR pomocí operačního programu Vzdělávání pro konkurenceschopnost. Čtvrtá kapitola je praktickou částí a je zaměřena na hodnocení konkrétních projektů vzdělávání.

The main goal of this paper is to evaluate the success of educational programs financed by the European Social Fund in the Czech Republic - specifically in the Moravian-Silesian region. The second chapter deals with the definition of Cohesion Policy. In addition, the chapter explains the territorial division of the Czech Republic according to European standards, the financial framework, strategic documents and tools used by the Cohesion Policy. The third chapter is focused on the analysis of the Czech population education. Further it compares the competitiveness of the European Union and the Czech Republic in the world-wide measures. As last, the chapter explains the role of the European Social Fund in matter of education support in the Czech Republic focusing on the Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness. The fourth chapter is the practical part and is focused on the evaluation of specific educational projects.
