Abstract

The thesis focuses on the analysis and verification of whether and under what conditions an investment in changing the grinding method at the grinding workplace on a selected CNC grinding machine in an industrial enterprise would be appropriate. The thesis deals primarily with data analysis. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to the practical solution of the work. The practical part of the thesis contains an analysis of the current state in the enterprise, relating to, for example, customers, employees or the grinding machine workplace. There is also an analysis of the orders processed, the profile and roll grinding methods and their comparison. At the end of the thesis, a proposal is made for specific variants of the grinding method and their evaluation using static methods of investment evaluation. The results of this thesis can be used to streamline production and increase the competitiveness of the enterprise.
