Posouzení vybraných vlastností brzdového systému

Abstract

In this bachelor thesis, the problematics of the vehicle braking system is theoretically described and practically tested; the braking distance and deceleration of the vehicle according to the EHK regulation, when some of its conditions are not met. The influence of the brake temperature on the coefficient of friction between the brake surfaces is going to be examined at the same time. The first part of the thesis is focused on the basic theory of brake systems and brakes, their division and functions. Subsequently, the compared parameters are analyzed, those are: the technical specifications of the vehicle used for testing, the EHK Regulation conditions and the test methodology. In the final part, the numerical and graphic processing of the measured data was made and so was the conclusion.
