Abstract

Bachelor work is concentrates on folding of a table tennis table and inspection of particular stressed components. The first section of this thesis is devoted to the table tennis – what equipment you need, dimensions of the table and production standards. The next section deals with different types of table tennis tables (interior, exterior, with wheels and folding) and with the three most common folding principles. Chapter five describes the construction process, material and methods of connection of individual parts. The last section of the thesis is devoted to calculations, particularly to calculations of welds for attaching the table legs to the wheel and inspection of a table leg buckling. The aim of this thesis is to design folding system and to provide calculations of expected crucial components of the table.
