Abstract
This thesis describes proposals of machining strategy of free form surfaces milling to increasing productivity. Thesis explains the effect of appropriately or inappropriately selected machining strategy in CAD / CAM system on real examples. Appropriate selection of machining strategy has a huge impact on the quality of the machined surface, tool life, but mainly to reduce the machining time, which is important for increasing productivity. In the second chapter of the thesis presents the most commonly used strategies for finishing free form surfaces milling. In professional part strategies are applied to selected surfaces on the selected shape component so as to always achieve the required quality machined surfaces. The overall assessment is based on comparing the machining time the individual strategies and determine the appropriate combination of strategies in the shortest machining time, allowing to reach maximum productivity.
