Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of cleaning the conveyor belt in the form of a combination of cleaning and dust removal. In the first part of the diploma thesis of the research is elaborated on the description of the belt conveyor and its individual parts. There are also described different methods of dust removal of overlap of the belt conveyor. Following clarification of the assignment and a proposal of overlap of the conveyor belts assembly. In this assembly, a conveyor belt cleaning device is placed on the inside of the lower part belt. The design of the assembly includes a combination of more methods for dust removal. The first method is dry fog, that removes large dust particles. The second method is the suction device located on both sides of the overlap. The proposal elaborated in the diploma thesis contributes to the longer life of the belt conveyor components and also to the improvement of the working and the environment.
