Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze HVOF coatings resistant to abrasion at higher temperatures. The first part of the work deals with the high velocity spraying method, a method called HVOF. In theory, it introduces the view of the spray application method, its potential and its use. Another part is focused on the console of JP-5000 torch used for application and the description of powders suitable against abrasion at elevated temperature stress. These are powders WC-Co 88/12, WC-Co 88/17, WC-Co-Cr 86/10/4, Cr3C2-NiCr 75/25. The experimental part includes the sample preparation and their analysis. The focus is primarily set on the metallographic analysis of samples, the thickness measurement, the hardness of spraying and the submission of samples to bend test and twist test.
