Abstract
This Bachelor thesis deals with power sources for mobile robotics. First, a complete research for the thesis was performed among currently available battery types and then a brief research of smart battery chargers. Subsequently, all requirements for energy subsystem of a robot and its parts were specified step by step. The result of this research was that contemporary smart battery chargers cannot satisfy mobile robotics battery requirements. In the practical part of this thesis, complete energy subsystem was designed, that implement all specified requirements. Consequently, the project was realized on the Arduino platform and a battery management evaluation module from Texas Instruments company.
