Abstract

The aim of this work is to compare time trends in trade law and in its substantial part - the road transport sector. It also describes the most significant milestones and major changes in the Trade Act and the Act on Road Transport. By splitting it into several phases of development of the Trade Act and Act on Road Transport the work shows in more detail how these laws have changed in comparison with the current situation. By means of questioning I will make a comparison of two business owners operating in the field of road transport. On them I will try to analyze the time development of the Trade Act and the Act on Road Transport. This technique will help me to find out what the situation in the field of road transport currently is and how the important amendments mentioned in this study have changed the view of entrepreneurs of the field of road transport. The result of the survey points out that the conditions for operating in the field of road transport are not satisfactory and that majority of entrepreneurs would be unable to start their businesses in this sphere of trade law under current rules and regulations.
