Abstract

The Bachelor’s Thesis deals with the construction design of a circular saw. The purpose of this thesis is to design a circular saw for domestic use, with the possibility for cutting firewood in either it’s cradle or on it’s working desk. At the beginning of this thesis, there is a comparison of industrially produced circular saws, along with their main features. The next section includes the circular saw’s main parts. For example, it includes its’ electric engine, it’s calculation of the saw disc cutting force, and it’s assessment of belts number, which also includes useful details. Also included are the drawings of the Circular Saw unit, its’ welded parts, and production drawings of some of the parts.
