Abstract
My work is divided into two parts. The first deals with the possibilities for welding carbon steels. For carbon steels, I focused mainly on the conditions of their weldability. The individual chapters present the assumptions that have to be welded steel meet the limit values and norms governing these parameters. The following is a list of basic elements affecting the weldability of their specific effects. The first section contains a description of the welding method used in the practical and basic description of the testing methods for welded joints. The second part consists in the design of weld joints of cast and wrought steel. It contains a proposal preparation weld area, welding technology, design, choice of filler material and atmosphere, including the calculation of the need of preheating and reheating design. After the weld itself was designed and implemented both nondestructive and destructive testing. The tests were performed and evaluated according to applicable standards.
