Abstract
In this diploma work is focused on numerice modelling of the compressible flow in closed circulation EGR cooler. This is a situation without heat-transfer between gas and refrigerant for time-steady flow. Were defined symetric-unstructured geometry. Geometry was tested for some initial pressure and different Reynolds numbers. There was used laminar model (laminar flow), k-ε RNG model of turbulence (turbulent flow) and standard wall function.
For geometry set up and mesh generation software Gambit was used. Solutions were used of the Fluent 13.0. Calculated results were compared with those given in Fluent.
