Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), which eliminates routine activities based on rules. The theoretical part describes the advantages and use of this technology for process automation. A comparison of three tools was performed, and based on the criteria, the UiPath software was selected. It is freely available on the web and offers available training. The work also introduces the basic functionality of this tool. In the practical part, the analysis and implementation of RPA in practice are described. A variation of six different examples of use was processed – replacing the repetitive task with automation, obtaining information from websites, automatic notification to mobile devices, automatic work with e-mail, storage and comparison of data from the web and automatic communication using chatbot.
