Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the track unit of the mobile robot ARES. The introduction of the thesis is focused on the description of the current version of the locomotor system, it's possible use in practice, advantages and disadvantages. There are four variants of conceptual solutions included in this design, followed by selection of the optimum, using the multi criteria analysis. This bachelor thesis also includes a 3D model of the final dessign variant of the track unit of the mobile robot ARES in the CAD system SolidWorks, a assembly drawing, parts drawings, a design calculation of belt pins, grooving of power wheel and proposal of compression springs.
